[MEGA] Frenchie Friday - July 12, 2024

Wow, I had NO intention of taking a month off from blogging and Frenchie Friday, but life doesn't always let you control your plan! I was in Europe between June 15 and July 4 dealing with various family and personal matters and despite good intentions I just didn't have the time I needed to get my links (you thought I was going to say act didn't you?!) together, so the result is a MEGA edition of Frenchie Friday!

During the time I was "out" both the first and second round of elections took place in France. I don't get political on the blog, let's just say things are a bug mess right now, no matter what party you support, sound familiar?

Instead we are sooooo close to the 2024 Olympics in Paris and I can't wait to see how Paris will put on the final touches before the games start. Every future tourist will benefit from the updates and upgrades they have been working on the last few years leading up to this moment!

Also, happy birthday to Paris! On July 8, 1951, Paris, the capital city of France, celebrated turning 2,000 years old.
