Frenchie Friday - April 26, 2024

Our last week in Portugal! The weather had been incredible this month until this week. It has rained on and off most of the time with a few windows of sunshine. We have made the best of it. It didn't prevent us from enjoying all the AMAZING food and wine!

Today we head back to Paris and then Saturday I head home for a quick stop to do laundry before heading to Denver for a business event. Mr. Misadventures is staying in France another week.

It's May, an interesting month in France. Right now it is super cold and rainy so bring layers (my Quince cashmere tee and cardigan has been miraculous) along with a raincoat (this is mine). Also shoes with a grip. I brought 3 pairs of Jambu and no slips!

There are lots of holidays so if you are visiting be aware. And as it gets closer and closer to the Olympics things are getting real!

Also, as a reminder as I just helped a reader navigate this for their trip. June 6 is the 80th anniversary of D-Day so not the best time to visit this area of Normandy unless you have a planned itinerary and reservations for the cemeteries etc (they will be closed on the 5th as well).
