Frenchie Friday - May 17, 2024

Sorry I missed last week, I was at a tradeshow in Denver all last week for my real day job. Mornings that started at 6 and evenings that ended at 11. Not much time for misadventuring!

France has a crazy 2 weeks! On the entertainment side, the French Swifties came out of the woodwork to attend Taylor Swift's 4 shows in Paris. She is in Lyon June 2 and 4th. Cannes film festival opened up, there is plenty of #MeToo and other world dramas, I personally enjoy the red carpet.

In case you did hear, Emily in Paris season 4 will be in 2 parts, August and September.

In real world news, France is on a manhunt for armed assailants who killed two prison officers and wounded three others in an ambush on a prison van, freeing a 30-year-old inmate and drug dealer known as "The Fly."

And of course, the riots in New Caledonia, a French territory.

Whew!

On a brighter note, if you are going to be in Paris towards the end of the month, specifically May 26th, check out this picnic event on the Champs-Élysées! Here are my favorite picnic spots in Paris.
