Frenchie Friday - Aug 30, 2024

After a 2 week break, the ParaOlympics have started in Paris so we all get to enjoy more scenes, articles, and news from Paris!

I chatted with the folks from Hôtel Balzac Paris this week. They re-opened at the end of June in the 8th arrondissement and I am going to pay them a visit on my next trip.

Are you influenced by Instagram? I totally am! This week I bought 2 of these beautiful Doppia Accent Rechargeable Table Lamps for outdoor dining because they looked wonderful in Will from Bright Bazaar's video! At least they are on sale at the moment. But guess given the holiday weekend, half the internet is!

The exception being Quince who only does sales during Black Friday - there prices are so good already, you can always count on that, no need to hunt for sales!

J'adore! Jeans!

Launched on Thursday and I was first to line up to buy! Quince now has jeans! They are starting with 4 styles and will have wider-leg versions later in the fall. My current jeans have been discountinued and I am very excited to try these out!

Quince Bedding for the Home

We all know I am a fan of Quince apparel but I tested out their bedding too and went all in! Duvets, sheets, shams, I got them all, and we love it! (We replaced our bath towels too at half the price!)

Quince Leather Jackets for Fall

We had a couple of cool mornings and I got my new Quince leather jackets out to plan some outfits for the fall and upcoming travel. Not too early to get yours! Tons of styles to choose from.

Caddis Eye Applicances

Do you wear reading glasses? Have you tried Caddis? They are so fun! I got my first pair 5 years ago and just got an (err, read stronger) updated pair, the Miklos Compact, in red bien sûr!

Pour Le Weekend...

It's hot again, le sigh...so early morning walks and some reading. Praying for fall to come asap!

How about you?

Bon Weekend!

Frenchie Friday on Saturday - Aug 24, 2024 Ouch! My company had a Recharge Day yesterday and I forgot to hit the send button on this email as I was too busy relaxing on my day off! Désolée! Everyone still loves Paris, probably even more so post-Olympics, as we get ready for fall, I am seeing lots of Paris in the background of catalogs and shopping sites. The latest I spotted was Ann Taylor Loft - their fall collection is set in Paris! Links I Love... Links to interesting stories found around...

Frenchie Friday - Aug 16, 2024 Bonjour tout le monde ! I hope everyone is doing well and did fall to Earth too briskly after the last two weeks of Olympic excitement! I tried to watch the closing ceremony on Sunday, but after an hour I was over it. As my French hubbie proclaimed, "do we need an instruction manual to understand this???" Emily in Paris is back! I watched the 5 episodes last night and was disappointed. What I loved about the first 3 seasons is the interplay of Emily with Paris -...
